This Rocky Mountain native appreciates part sun (morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal) and medium moisture. Removing spent blossoms encourages an encore display. The flowers’ ethereal beauty draws the attention of gardeners and non-gardeners alike. Native pollinators are equally appreciative of the blossoms. Zone 3-9. Flowers: Blue sepals, white petals and bright-yellow anthers. Blooms late spring to early summer. Light requirements: Full shade, Partial shade. Moderate water. Average soils. 18-24 in. high. 12-18 in. wide.
