Proposed Revision for
2026 LCMG Bylaws and Policies & Procedures

VOTE: Scheduled for April 16, 2026 (Thursday), LCMG Membership Meeting

Every couple of years and as needed, LCMG conducts a thorough review of our Bylaws and Policies & Procedures (P&P) to keep them clear, current, and aligned with how we operate.  The 2026 review began in November 2025 with the first meeting of the 2026 Bylaws Committee, and now the committee presents the recommended revisions for member consideration and vote.  Members are invited to review the proposed revisions in the documents below.

Vote

The Active Members will vote on adopting the proposed revisions at the April 16, 2026, LCMG Membership Meeting.  The motion would be similar to, "a motion for membership to adopt the proposed complete revision of the LCMG Bylaws [and LCMG P&P for that document], replacing the previously adopted versions."  â€‹If you cannot attend the April 16, 2026, LCMG Membership Meeting, you may name another Active Member to vote in your absence by completing, signing, and submitting a Proxy Form to the LCMG Secretary (secretary@lcmg.org) prior to the meeting (reference: 2024 LCMG Policies & Procedures, paragraph 6.C).

Summary of Changes

An Amendment Log was used to summarize suggested changes submitted by members, along with the rationale, and the Bylaws Committee's recommendation for the suggested item.  The amendment log contains substantive changes; it does not include any of the administrative consolidation, grammatical, formatting, or renumbering changes, unless there was also a substantive change to the item itself.  If there is a discrepancy between the Amendment Log and the CLEAN PDF files, the PDF files are controlling.
