Today's blog shares an article from the Laramie County Library about joint project, the Seed Library of Laramie County celebrating the 10th year anniversary.
Today, we are thrilled to share exciting news from our partners at the Laramie County Library System: The Seed Library of Laramie County is celebrating its 10th anniversary!
What began as a simple idea has blossomed into a vital community resource, offering free seeds selected for Wyoming's climate and educational workshops for gardeners of all levels. This collaborative project, undertaken in partnership with the Laramie County Master Gardeners and the Laramie County Library, has helped thousands of people discover the joys of gardening.
To mark this incredible milestone, a special 10th-anniversary logo will debut this season, symbolizing a decade of growth, resilience, and community connection.
Join us in celebration by volunteering, visiting the seed library, or attending one of the many upcoming gardening workshops. For details on events, please visit the Laramie County Library System online calendar.
This 10-year journey would not have been possible without the continuous support of our dedicated volunteers and every community member who has participated. Thank you for trusting us with this idea, for getting your hands dirty, and for believing in the magic of a tiny seed.
Here’s to the next harvest, the next season, and the next 10 years of growing together!
